Finished Yuri’s Revenge

I am so hopeless at video games. Today, I finally completed the Allied campaign on Yuri’s Revenge – on easy difficulty. It was a good story, but I am so hopeless I only just pulled it off…

Battle for Middle-Earth is great. I am struggling to beat a Skirmish Enemy at medium difficulty though… I thought I might try Gondor V Rohan, ’cause I like to sit inside my Gondor base and build up resources before attacking. However, Mordor are very good at catapulting my walls down, so this doesn’t work. Rohan has little or no siege equipment so it should be better.

Gondor V an easy oponent is funny. They don’t use any siege equipment. I once played against three easy enemies, and didn’t put any defences on my castle walls. After a few minutes I have hoards of infantry and cavalry all around my entrance, but there was no way they could get in! Hilarious! I went on to defeat two of the enemies and build resource castles on their ruins. Then I made a final attack against the remaining Mordor base. Fun.

Should I change my signature to something like:

But which combination looks best?

Excellent News

I ordered a game off Amazon earlier this week, and to get free delivery (it was a cheap game) we added a couple of CDs my mother and sister wanted, and I bought a couple of DnD books. Alas, in order to avoid paying any extra we selected Group Into As Few Deliveries As Possible. Humph. One of the DnD books pulled the order back a fortnight.

However, today we recieved notification that the order had been dispatched, so should be here today or tomorow!

I have taken the live countdown off my desktop…
